☑ take의 의미

01. (손 등으로) 잡다, 움켜잡다

He took the baseball bat and swung it. (그는 야구 방망이를 움켜잡고, 그것을 휘둘렀다.)

02. (덫 ․ 미끼 등으로) 잡다

Some fishermen using the right type and size of chironomids consistently took trout. (알맞은 형태와 크기의 키로노미드를 사용하는 일부 낚시꾼들은 시종일관 송어를 낚았다.)

03. 물건을 취하다

Could I take these books with me?

I’ll take this cap.

Do you take Visa card?

04. 점령하다, 탈취하다, 빼앗다

The communists took power in 1948. (공산주의자들은 1948년에 정권을 탈취했다.)

05. (상 등을) 획득하다, 벌다, 취득하다

Burrel was delighted to take first Prize. (버렐은 일등상을 받아 기뻤다.)

06. 가지고 가다, 운반하다, 휴대하다

Take your lunch with you. (도시락 가지고 가렴.)

Don’t forget to take your umbrella with you.

07. 데리고 가다, 태우고 가다

Barney took us to the airport. (바니는 우리를 공항으로 데리고 갔다.)

08. (시간 ․ 노력 등을) 요하다, 걸리다; 필요로 하다

Organizing a successful street party takes a lot of energy. (성공적인 길거리 파티를 준비하는 데는 상당한 에너지가 필요하다.)

09. (감정 ․ 생각 등을) 일으키다, 느끼다, 경험하다

At first, he took no interest in the baby. (처음에 그는 아기에게 아무런 관심도 느끼지 못했다.)

10. 사용하다, 이용하다

She took the time to finish it properly. (그녀는 그것을 잘 마무리하는 데 그 시간을 활용했다.)

11. ~을 하다.

Most Korean people take a bath every day.

I’d like to take a nap(break) now.

You should take a rest for a couple of days.

12. 견디다, 수용하다

This machine refuses to take my card.

The truck can take a lot of weight.

The tank takes 10 gallons.

13. 차량, 도로 등을 타다

16. 농담, 충고 등을 받아들이다
